Terms of Service

⚠️ Safe Signals is a supplemental safety tool. It is NOT a replacement for calling 911. In any life-threatening emergency, always attempt to contact 911 directly if possible. Safe Signals is designed to assist when direct communication is not possible.
1. Acceptance of Terms
- By downloading, installing, or using Safe Signals, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
- If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Safe Signals.
- These terms apply to all users of the Safe Signals mobile app, web app, and any related services operated by Mix It Hub, LLC.
2. Description of Service
- Safe Signals is a personal safety application that enables users to send emergency alerts to emergency services and their emergency contacts.
- The service includes one-tap emergency activation, location sharing, audio and photo evidence capture, suspect description tools, and a case file dashboard.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use Safe Signals.
- Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
- By using Safe Signals, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
4. Emergency Use Disclaimer
- Safe Signals is designed to assist in genuine emergency situations. Misuse of the platform — including submitting false emergency alerts — is a serious offense.
- Filing a false emergency report through Safe Signals may constitute a criminal offense under applicable federal and state laws.
- Mix It Hub, LLC cooperates fully with law enforcement investigations involving misuse of the Safe Signals platform.
- Safe Signals does not guarantee response times or outcomes. Emergency response depends on factors outside our control including network availability, device functionality, and the capacity of responding agencies.
5. SMS Messaging Consent
- By adding emergency contacts in Safe Signals, you confirm that each contact has agreed to receive emergency SMS text messages.
- Messages are sent only when you trigger a HELP ME NOW emergency alert.
- Messages include your name, emergency type, and GPS location.
- No marketing or promotional messages are sent. Message frequency: 0–1 per month per contact.
- Contacts can reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.
- Message and data rates may apply.
6. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate information in your emergency profile, as this information is transmitted to first responders.
- You agree not to use Safe Signals for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm others.
- You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or interfere with the Safe Signals platform or its integrations.
7. Subscription & Billing
- Safe Signals Pro: $9.99/month with a 7-day free trial. Credit card required.
- Safe Signals Yearly: $89.99/year (save 25%).
- Cancel anytime before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mix It Hub, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Safe Signals.
- We do not guarantee that Safe Signals will be available at all times or that emergency alerts will always be successfully delivered.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Safe Signals shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- Safe Signals is a tool to assist in emergencies. It does not replace professional emergency services, and we make no warranty that its use will prevent harm.
9. Intellectual Property
- All content, features, and functionality of Safe Signals — including the name, logo, design, and code — are owned by Mix It Hub, LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Safe Signals without our express written permission.
10. Termination
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms.
- You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting mona@safesignals.app.
- Upon termination, your right to use Safe Signals ceases immediately. Emergency records may be retained as required by law.
11. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New Mexico.
- Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
